Product & Resources
The quality of South Kalimantan coal in general contains a calorific value of 3578 - 7298 kcal/kg; 0,04 - 2,94 % sulphur; 1 - 19% ash; 35 - 45,9% fix carbon; 38 - 70 HGI; 27,7 - 48,5% volatile matter; 3,54 - 24% inherent moister; and total moisture of 3,54 - 45%. Our coals are classified as subbituminous, a type of coal whose properties range from those of lignite to those of bituminous coal and are used primarily as fuel for steam-electric power generation. Although subbituminous coal has lower calorific values than bituminous coal, its sulfur content is often low, sometimes less than 1 percent.

The geological characteristic of subbituminous coal in the province is dominated by the grey coloring. There are about 6 seams throughout the concession which is part of the Warukin Formation, with thickness ranges from 2 to 8 meters. This type of formation is low in ash and sulphur. We produce GCV 5500-5300 to GCV 5300 -5100.

In June 2006, PT. Anzawara Satria passed the prequalification round of a 20 year supply tender to the State Owned Electricity Company (PLN). Only companies with a minimum reserve of 150 million MT would be considered for the tender.
